December 17, 2011 First Reconciliation 9:00 - 10:00 for the Tri Parish Cluster at St. Mary's Port Washington

The retreat is an opportunity for both parents and children from our Cluster to learn more about the sacrament and become more comfortable with it.

Parents will join Maureen Rotramel for an information packed session.  The children will spend time learning about the sacrament, touring the Reconciliation Room and church, and creating a craft to display at the Reconciliation Service.

When we gather together at the end of retreat parents will be treated to a skit starring their children.  A light brunch will be served.

Our goal is to help you and your child realize that the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a gift of love and peace from God.  We are all created in the image of God.  The grace we receive in this Sacrament helps us to live in friendship with him.

April 29th, 8:30 at I.C. , 10:30 at St. Peter's

May 5 , 5pm at I.C.

May 6 , 9:oo and 11:00 at St. Mary's

The Eucharist is the primary source of spiritual nourishment for the disciples of Christ.  In Eucharist we are reconciled with God and one another.  To receive such a powerful gift is to proclaim loudly the love of Christ and to allow this love to flow through us.  RCIA#243

Our goal is to create a love for and excitement about the Holy Eucharist in your child.  In doing so a strong future relationship with God and a place at his table throughout their lives is assured.
